Bad breath is a very common problem. it is referred as halitosis . foul smell can be due to bacteria struck in the tongue or root of the tongue. Or even from the tongue .and if you don’t brush regularly then thin layer of bacteria called as plash covers over your teeth and if this plaque gets thickened ,starts giving foul smell.
